AI Fever Risks Torpedoing London Tech

Partha Gopalakrishnan wrote an article for The Standard, which detailed his advice to London tech firms to avoid failed AI transformation.

In an article for The Standard, Partha urged executives at London tech firms to slow down and invest in the required talent and training to lay solid foundations for AI implementation. He explained that this would allow them to build a sustainable, long-term AI ecosystem that drives value for their companies and helps them avoid the missteps that even the big players like Google have made in rushed AI projects.

He also argued that while big firms can afford to bring in specialists, startups should focus on training top AI talent from scratch. He advised firms to hire graduates from a diverse range of degree disciplines, explaining that those from humanities backgrounds would play a significant role in offering solutions around the ethics of AI implementation and governance.
