It was a pleasure to participate in a thought-provoking panel discussion hosted by the The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI), the leading global professional body for financial services, which brought together global finance professionals and industry leaders to explore how AI is reshaping the Corporate Finance value chain.
During the session, I introduced my ‘5-P AI Value Chain Impact Amplification Framework’ — a holistic, front-to-back strategic transformation methodology that is both industry- and technology-agnostic. This structured approach enables organisations to embed AI meaningfully across the Corporate Finance lifecycle — from M&A Strategy, Buyer/Seller Screening, and Valuation, through to Due Diligence, Sale Execution, and Post-Merger Integration & Value Creation.
I discussed practical, real-world examples of AI in action — from Reviewing due diligence documents, Analysing risks and synergies, mitigating post-merger integration challenges, to Writing contracts, producing due diligence outputs that feed into a human-in-the-loop process for further preparation and consumption.
My advice : Modern corporate finance requires modern tools.
AI is not only accelerating execution but also enabling smarter, more strategic decisions at every stage of the value chain in Corporate Finance.
I look forward to continuing the conversation on how organisations can embed AI effectively, responsibly, and at scale within their finance functions and beyond.
